Where can I go to get a COVID-19 test?

You can find a testing site near you by going to this website, entering your address, city, or zip code into the field provided, and clicking submit.


Some locations provide free COVID-19 tests, and it will say so in the description of the search results!

Where can I go get a COVID-19 vaccine?

Go to this website, VaccineFinder, to find a COVID-19 vaccine provider near you!


All you need to do is to enter your zip code, choose how far you would like to search within the vicinity, then check which one of the following three vaccines that you would like to receive, and hit search.


It will show you a list of locations, its address, and whether or not they are out of doses.


No luck there? Try TurboVax, which shows doses at a larger number of sites. 

How can I help prevent the spread?

Recently, the CDC recommended wearing a cloth mask on top of a surgical mask, stating its effectiveness in reducing the risk of infection and its increased coverage.

Are there any government programs or non-profit organizations offering food assistance or housing?

City Harvest has a map on their website that shows you all the locations that are currently distributing free meals to food throughout the New York City Metropolitan Area.


Meals on Wheels is a program that delivers food to people who are unable to go out on their own to get their grocery, or do not have the ability to prepare their own meals. You can go onto their website to look for local programs by zip code.


The NYC Department of Education offers take-out meals for students who are remotely-learning and community meals for everyone on a daily basis. It is important to note that there are limited accommodations for those who have dietary needs or restrictions. Halal, Kosher, or Vegetarian meals are available, but they’re only available at certain locations that are listed on the websites.
